Towards the end of June and into July, the kids and I finally finished our very tiny little garden. We had to mix 9 bags of garden soil into our sandy soil and build a fence to keep out the dogs. We planted some corn, cantaloupe, and different squash and some flowers. Unfortunately, two days after we planted we had frost, so I'm not sure if the squash is going to make it. I guess we will see!

Wow! What a lot of work, especially considering you have to build a fence too. I loved seeing all the photos of Alexus and Tyse. I already miss them. We had a great time in Montana. I'll have to send you some of the photos I took. Tell them hi and give them loves from their CA Petersen auntie:)
I envy you...we dream about planting a garden some day. and that's fun about the cherries
